Every evening after the US close, each model forecasts every stock for the next day, 5 days and 20 days. Forecasts are locked in before the outcome is known and can never be changed. Then they're scored against what really happened.

The first forecasts lock in tonight
Forecasts are only made while the market is closed, from final closing prices, so they can never peek at the period they predict. Next-day forecasts get their first scores tomorrow evening; 5-day forecasts in a week; 20-day forecasts in about a month.
Keep the backend running (and the computer awake) so no evenings are missed.
The models
Real models: . Baselines are deliberately simple; a model is only worth anything if it beats them. A model's rules are frozen per version, so results are never mixed between versions.
